World-First Stem Cell Collection Protocol at KFSH Jeddah Improves Donor Safety

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH) in Jeddah has developed and implemented the world’s first single-session stem cell collection protocol, introducing a predictive algorithm that improves donor safety and enhances the efficiency of stem cell transplantation.

The protocol accurately estimates stem cell yield before collection, enabling the procedure to be completed in a single session for 100% of male donors and 94.9% of all donors, while eliminating the need for third and fourth collection sessions - Read More
